- Swimming is not permitted inside the Blue Eye itself. Swimming may take place only in the nearby natural pools when sea conditions are considered safe by the guide.
- Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and comfortable footwear.
- Water shoes are strongly recommended at Shark Bay because of the rocky seabed and sea urchins.
- Water-shoe rental may be available on site for approximately €2, subject to availability.
- Shark Bay is home to juvenile lemon sharks. They are generally calm but remain wild animals.
